Club Row 2016

Posted on May 02, 2016

Every year La Piñata Party has the honor of producing the Associated Students Club Row annual event. An event where Santa Monica College student clubs join together to celebrate community service, make new friends and raise money for student clubs and activities.

This years event came along with a few challenges including a new committee, a new set of rules and guidelines, new rental equipment and a two-hour total installation time and a three-day event notice.Fortunately for the Associated Students of Santa Monica College, our team of experienced Event Rental Specialist, Crew Chief, Crew and Warehouse Managers are no strangers to these types of "last-minute" request, timed demands and just about any challenge you can throw their way.          Read More

Popples, Season 2 Launch Party

Posted on March 15, 2016

We were thrilled when we received a Save the Date email from our lovely friend, Sarah Shewey, of Happily,  as she geared up to produce another event.  We were incredibly stoked to hear her latest client was Netflix, as they were planning their Season 2 Launch party for their show, Popples. You know those brightly colored marsupial teddy bears with long tails ending in a pom-pom from the late 1980's. No? You're probably to young to remember (wink wink), but you probably have a son or daughter, niece or nephew, or even you yourself started binge watching any of their first 26 half-hour episodes of this late 1980's classic exclusively on Netflix.            Read More

You've heard of pop-up stores, pop-up restaurants, pop-up vintage shops (like our friends over at A Current Affair, but a pop-up brunch?! Real Wedding: Nina & Shaun

Posted on April 1, 2016

If you dream of having a modern, industrial chic wedding or event, you're going to fall hard with Nina and Shaun's wedding.

A creative and collaborate team of A-list vendors came together the morning of Saturday, March 26th, to produce a stunner wedding held at 440 Seaton, nestled in the Arts District in Downtown Los Angeles, a growing artistic and cultured community that surronds the venue. The raw urban warehouse with Cathedral-like atrium, soaring 50 foot high ceilings, exposed brick walls, concrete floors and wooden beams would serve as a blank canvas for the creative team of vendors and bride-to-be.            Read More

The level of cuteness on todays blog is ridiculous! After viewing all the pictures taken from Shop Up L.A. two-day event, someone in our team needs to have a baby ASAP to spoil him/her with all the goodies featured at The Shop Up event.

This fun filled (and extemely adrable) event was put together by Miraya Berke of Pop Productions, an NYC Events firm, and beautifully captured by Nicki Sebastian.           Read More

International Food Festival

When our newest client, St. Joan of Arc Church, approached us for rentals their annual International food Festival, Father Joseph knew exactly how we wanted his festival to look like- full of color. He knew how he wanted each guest to react as they entered through the festival doors-- with a "Wow! This is nothing like in the past years". He even had the full menu in mind. He simply needed help taking his ideas and turning them into reality.           Read More
